I know this has been done to death, but Autoexpress (Special Issue No 723) out this week is claiming that the IS430 will be available next summer !

Can anyone "in the know" confirm this ?

Knowing lexus if it was then it would only be available as an automatic with 16" wheels in the UK

SuperchargedIS1200, was the "no it's not" in response to my post or the last one ? It is a bit of a strange claim, tucked away in the cars for 2003 preview and the only other evidence available on the net is regarding a launch in the US.

Regarding to a german car magazin the IS430 will be available at the end of this year....

also there will be a supercharger kit for the RX300 from TTE

the RX300 supercharger kit is available now from TTE, and has been a while, i saw it installed on there "mule" a while back............and it does shift!!!!!

as far as the is430 being launched.........i doubt it,last time i saw it ,it couldnt go very far without having launch/fuel/ignition problems

all these reports are originating because.

a.TTE are developing a viable package....

b.TRD are developing a viable package.....

and some privateers are also trying to make it a viable package,do people seriously think that a car due a model change ,which is well known to be happening in 2004/5,will spend all this money on developing a V8 ISModel

these companys are trying to see the feesability of a future V8 powered model,the compressor version is still some way off,as in TTE need to get the normally aspirated is430 running right b4 they can develop the compressor version
