Lexus Is200 Complete Sat Nav

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

As I'm sure many of you are aware I have looking for IS200 Sat Nav housing for a looooong while.

Well I found the complete system at a breakers - but they wouldn't seperate, so I put it on eBay. Selling off the complete system minus the housing which I can keep :D

Someone has agreed to buy it from me minus housing!

Now the thing is I want to make sure I sell the buyer the complete kit as its only fair. So does anyone have a parts list or something so I can ensure I get everything needed from the breakers?

So far I think:

1. Screen,

2. Housing (mine  )

3. Motor for housing (mine!)

4. Circuit board for housing (Mine again! :D)

5. DVD Sat Nav wiring loom

6. Boot DVD Head Unit,

7. GPS Reciever (where is this normally?)

Is that it, OR should the system have more stuff too?

Thanks,

Anees

Oh......system is comming out of a 2002 IS200 Sport

Right.....DVD! (Doh!) That should already be in the DVD unit

@Colin - Ive been after this for AGES and AGES so have just been constantly ringing about breakers. I tried breakerlink but no one ever rang me back!

Also, thanks for the other thing ;)

what's he doind with it - just out of interest??

He wants to fit it into his 2003 IS200 without Sat Nav.

I have explained to him that its a difficult job - but his son is into cars and should be able to do it (he hopes) :mat:

He is going to put the screen in a JDM Dash Tray I think.

Reverse of removal !!

Ok then......removal instructions ;) :P

Hi Anees,

Remove centre console, seats, carpets, steering wheel, complete dash, rear parcel shelf, boot carpet & lining.

Remove old wiring loom and replace with new loom. Fit CD ECU unit in the floor of the boot to the right hand side.

Rebuild the car!!

Good luck!!!

It took me 2 very very cold days!!!!!!!!!

But it was worth it for my baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELP Please guys!!

The breakers can not find the GPS Reciever. I'v read SteveAudioX's post but it doesn't seem to be their.

The car is a 2002 model - could it be in a different place?

Thanks,

Anees :D
