I have just fitted EBC crossed grooved and pitted disc's with EBC greenstuff pads.

Just so you know, stops like a Good'un.

I had EBC on my IS, after hearing the horror stories about them I found them to be fine, they needed a little time to get used to the extra noise they made, but they looked better and brake dust was almost non existant.

I used EBC pads and discs in the past without any problems and was thinking about putting a set on the front of my GS when the time comes to replace the stock parts.

i have just put a full set of boots on mine, None of the tyres matched?

Really noticed a differencr, especially braking from high speed.

the discs bite and do not fade

considering these myself at the mo, as my Mintex pads keep glazing over!

what's glazing over?

its when you overheat the pad (for several reasons) and the surface turns super slcik and glass like which leads to bad braking and squealing.

its happend 3 times now, and each time i have had to take a file and make the surface good again.

it can also be caused by a contamination to the pad i.e. chemical etc

What sort of noise Brett

Was a clicking noise of the pads rubbing against the grooves

can only hear it with the window down and driving next to something that bounces the sound back at you like a wall.
