Yes. What could be better? (Apart from an IS300 perhaps - shame there's no manual here yet.) Perhaps if he gets the LPG well and truly sorted (if its not already?)... or rips it out...he'll be happier....

(PS Confession time - OK so I did think about getting the 180bhp Skoda Octavia myself but that was before I tried the IS200...)

no - I voted YES. ok so I also had strange thoughts about perhaps getting a skoda oct rs (or WRX or audi A4) but I just couldn't do that to him. Having tasted the delights of an IS there can be only one...

I would never get a Skoda...even for free. I would rather drive Toyota Corolla than Skoda! (just my opinion, I think Skoda was, is and will always be a piece of junk...)

Test drive one and look me in the eye at the club meeting and tell me it's junk. It's a far better car than the dull Golf GTi 1.8T and has almost identical equipment to the Lexus (only misses out on the heated seats and sunroof and the stereo is very tinny, but fixable).
