watch out for the toerag scallys . . . .

some :tsktsk: b*st**d :tsktsk: has stolen the four [yes 4] nice silver hexagonal tyre valve tops from my MkIII GS300

I called my local Lexus parts dept, it will only cost me a couple of quid [should I claim on my insurance? :) ]

But . . . . they told me they have already had to sell loads, half-inching them must be the new fashion

What is the point?

Any suggestions? Super glue them on? :D

Yep - superglue them on and carry one of the small Maplin socket sets in your glovebox when you need to put air in.

I had these hexagon ones and even tightened em with a spanner, but they went several times. Once I even nicked em backed off the buggers bike, huge row in straight, but got the other two from his pocket. Oddly enough they disappeared again 3 days later.

Got the locking lexus ones now and, touch wood, had no problems. A bit fiddly when doing tyre pressures, so I just keep four little screws in the door and use these instead of the screw thing you get with em .

Your lucky its just your valve caps,me girlfriend had her washing nicked off the line yesterday well she was at work

Nothings safe :excl:

We've got the gyppoes round our way for the Royal Welsh Show this week. Apparently Boots have had to post staff on the door, they've been nicking so much! FIVE armed response units were at the site on the weekend, too.

Viz described them pretty accurately here! :D

I've had 3 sets ! These are the best I have found. You fasten them on with a key (supplied) and they just keep spinning round. You can only remove them with the key.

valvecaps' times seem to be a bit better this time round. When trading as mandeoluk he took three weeks to send mine out and eventually got kicked off eBay after having 6 complaints in one week.

those are what i have.

i lost the screw key thing but found that it was just a 2mm screw thread, so I have fourscrews and a little screw driver in the door.

i did get them off that guy, and i tried to get another screw key but he ignored me
