Abs Light On And Trc Flashing

Hi

Just went out in the car and the ABS light was on constantly and the TRC was flashing, any ideas what it means? Its gone off now but just wondered what it meant? Dont tell me to look in teh manual cuz I dont know where it is :duh:

someone had this problem after having their is200 lowered, it was a connector left off from one of the abs sensors, perhaps your connector is dirty or loose

ahh ok, yea it's lowered on coilovers, not after this weekend though so i'll check out the sensor

That would be me. When i had eibachs fitted to the car one of the ABS sensors was broken and i had the ABS light on constantly and the TRC flashing. Replaced the broken sensor and everything is now fine.

dont suppose you can remember how much the sensor was can you? is it a DIY job?

Very easy DIY job. I bought the two front sensors off Mat C. I only used the front passanger side and still have the drivers side sat in the house somewhere. If it is your sensor and the drivers side, you can have mine ;)

cheers mate, shoudl be taking the coilovers off this weekend (weather permitting) so i'll have a look

there are multiple reasons why those lights will come on. I would advise you find out what error code is being produced before you consider replacing parts at that is not a very cost effective solution.

well, they're not on anymore so I was wondering if something was loose or possibly dirty. I'll see if it's the sensors when I take teh wheels off
