Trip Computer Question

There are 2 trip odometers and a MPG guage at the bottom part of the cluster. To be honest it is a bit pointless as it is realtime and not average.

The MPG guage isn't really all *that* accurate either. It's basically a more elaborate version of an inlet manifold pressure guage (like those add-on "economy meters" you can get from Halfords).

Only way you can do it with any accuracy is on a run:

Fill the tank

Note the mileage at the start

Note the mileage at the end

Note how many litres to refill the tank

Calculate mpg (litres/3.785 = UK gallon)

4.54609 is for UK gals, 3.785 is for US gals...
