Hey Gord,

when u say it needs to be done if SC'd..... how necessary is it? I mean, with the TTE SC, running at 0.3 bars .... how hot does it really get? (this brings me to another question, which I'll start a new thread about ....)

also, when u say decat, do you mean removal of the precat and also main cat?

Thanks in advance!

is a de-cat worth the trouble, and how much is 1

Not really mate, you only need it done if you put supercharger on your car, as the engine runs hot, and may in time melt them :o

Cost is about £100 or you can do-it-yourself if you have the tools :D

Merely removing the cats from a standard pipe will make b7gger all difference to anything.

Fitting a completely deresticted (de-catted) pipe from the manifold to the tailpipe, plus a decent induction is about as far as you can go NA on the IS200.....without spending some serious dinaro.
