According to the site it is HD ready, but with DVI not HDMI :)

This is quite tempting, was looking at buying one of the Sony Bravia LCDs, but now thinking whether to buy one of these now, and something better later on.

Only thing putting me off is that its original price is quite low as well

Oh is it, so that £490 (or whatever) was an already discounted price? That brings it back in then..... :D

Bear in mind its a 25ms response time - may blur a little if watching fast action films or playing fast games...

But yeah, no HDMI connector...

Still an absolute bargain.

Twin tuner - PIP.

D.

P.S. Wicked find Am - been MSN-ing everyone like!

I did clock on that there prices on the site have always been cheaper. If you look up that screen on ebuyer.com its more there, they have something like 150 in stock or something stupid!

If it sucks, i'm sure it won't be hard to sell, even make few quid. But i'm sure it will live up :)

I was about to buy 3 of them, sell them for some money..... its sooo cheap!

Indeed.

But that offer had been online for more then 3 days i've been told. I guess it was end of the line so they flogged them!

There not even listed anymore.

Ah cr@p.

Hesitated too much!!! ARGH. Was gonna see what you thought of it first.

Damn it.

I swear it said prices valid till 23 Dec 05...

It's in! Nice design, nice blue lights on the buttons and on the remote. It has every concivable input! 2x SCART, DVI and PC-RGB, S-Video CVBS, and all the audio inputs.

It has an expansion slot at the left side for a memeory card reader module that reads almost every type - if it were fitted ;)

Picture quality fine, for an LCD display (main drawback is slower response making fast moving images a little blurred). Bright and sharp.

Good value for money! I didn't even know Dell made TVs, thanks for the tip :) Now some people want to order one for back home only to find out the deal expired end of the month!

Cheers,
