Replacing The Factory Turbo Setup

You'd have to have at least some sort of Piggyback ECU for AFR as well as Boost (in some cases), timing, etc. After reading about the TOMS ECU I must say I'd rather get the standard ECU reflashed by Mine's to remove the top speed limiter and then use a piggyback to do more.

That's all I can give you for now...what kind of power you want to make also affects this decision, as then you might want to look at getting the Autobox rebuilt as well as getting a uprated Torque Convertor.

It depends on which model you have. The earlier model will be easier to do as it retains a map sensor, but no-one makes a kit for the later VVT model which uses an AFM for air mass metering, although we have done custom installations on this model.

You will be much better off with a decent ecu upgrade. Personally I wouldn't use anything that has been pre-mapped or flashed (especially in another country) as the odds are stacked against you that it will work very well. Always go for a custom mapped ecu. :)
