What Would I Get Px For My Car?

Seen that local dealer has a used RX for sale in the colour I like. Was supposed to be waiting 12 months before changing but it is soooo tempting.

Just had a look at autotrader to see what my car is worth and got a nasty shock :crying:

However it would let me add in the fact it has Sat Nav and auto. Will that add much more?

Mine is an 2003 53 plate IS200 SE Auto, Sat Nav, metalic blue, black leather 33k miles FLSH still under Lexus warranty, full set of refurbed wheel sat in cellar waiting to go on it.

In the same boat as you. I've had mine for 20 months and really like the new GS for better boot space and practicality (and also don't want to leave the Lexus world). Having looked at the value of my current IS in parkers and I was horrified. Spoke to the dealer who suggested to keep the car for a while for the prices of the GS to drop but that also affects the resale value of my IS. Stuck!!

Sounds like a vicious circle to me :crybaby:

it is kind off

the IS is steadily depreciating

however the GS will suffer a large depreciation within its first year, and over years to come will depreciate at a higher rate than the IS will

Autotrader website puts it at £9,900 :crying:

AA Website a slightly better £12,750 :crybaby:

Quite a difference just want to know what to expect when I go to the dealer, particulalrly as I will need to settle outstanding finance as well.
