Just wondering if these things are common on a is200:

1) burning smell from exhaust if been on long journey

2)Hell of a lot of water vapour out of exhaust, more than other cars it seems

3)black substance build up on the bottom rim of the tailpipe cover

And if theses aren't normal whats up with my baby :crybaby:

Yeah I got them.

Used to be concerned about the "steam" but haven't used a drop in 3 years.

Mine's the same! The burning smell is usually more obvious when I've been on a faster journey.

The vapour is always visibile on mine on a cold morning and has been the same for the last 3 years!

My 300 is the same, although I've no black stuff in the exhaust. Nice to hear the reason for the smell, I did wonder what it was.
