Does anyone know if you can buy centre arm rest this and fit it yourself. Lexus Hull say,s £365 , also Sport rear spoiler OE or replica Lexus will not sell it without Sport log book.

I am in the process of buying an IS200 sport. When I was looking around I asked about the spoiler and the armrest. Every Lexus garage I asked in the North West would not add the arm rest - It was not an option.

They would all fit a spoiler - £450 (aprox). They would all do this at any time - I could go in there in 6 months time and they would still fit one then.

Rubbish,if you wish to purchase any Lexus accesoiry,you can.......if you want a sport spoiler on your car,you DO NOT need to have a sport handbook......

Yes thats true, bought a 200se 2 yrs ago from new and asked for a sport spoiler to be fitted and yes they did, no problem. The car was from Jemca, Edgware, London. Now i want an armrest, could be hard work.

Hey guys...you mabe in luck :D

I'm interested in buying this armrest for my IS200 SE. This photo shows the design for a left hand drive car, the one that I'm after will be designed for a right hand drive cars so it doesn't interfere with the hand brake. The cost of this is around $129.00 plus postage. I've sent a note to Matthew_McNally to try to organise a group buy as we need to min. of 5 to order this.

response from the supplier regarding this is

Pop up and remove center shifter area,3 electrical plugs, 6 phillip screws, carefully lift on back end of console

Remove lid and hinge from console

6 more screws to remove

Place new armrest on top, 4 screws with washers are provided to attach from underneath, drill pilot holes to start them off

Re-aasemble.your done!!

unfortunately, this group buy is for a heavily discounted arm rest that has been specially adapted for right hand drive IS200's by one of the Gold Member discounting company's - so can only really be offered to gold members.

But - you really should consider joining - not only will you be able to get your arm rest, but you will have access to all the other discounts.

I have saved well more than the £25 annual subscription just on servicing alone.

I expect to save considerably more next year once I get my insurance through the LOC Insurance Scheme.
