Pumping My Abs

Picked up my GS300 yesterday and at the moment, you couldn't punch the smile off my face! :yahoo:

When driving it home though, I noticed a few times, a sound like a motor running from the vicinity of the drivers footwell. Once home, I did some experimentation, and found the noise ocurrs if you press the brake pedal (fairly hard) a few times and lasts about 5-10 seconds. I'm assuming from this that is could be the ABS pump repressurising. After leaving the car standing for a few hours, I went out and just turned on the ignition (without starting the engine) and the noise was there for about 30 seconds or so. Is this normal operation or is the ABS system low on pressure? The ABS light on the dash has not come on which I guess is a good sign!

Thanks

PS The smile on my wife's face disappeared as soon as my Switch card was swiped through the machine!

Looks like I'm going to have to do some serious buying of flowers or choccies
