Hi,

Never drove an auto before the Aristo and not got a handbook/manual so just wondered if anyone can tell me what the M, 2, and L mean on the gear lever of the auto?

Also what gear I'd need to put it in to use the tiptronic? And would I need to put it into one of these gears to get the cruise control to work...or it's broken

M = Manual (Tiptronic)

L = Low (1st)

2 on the stick allows the box to use only L & 2

Think you need to be in D for cruise control.

Thanks! So does "L=Low (1st)" mean that it only stays in first gear?

The lower gear selections are really only for engine breaking for when towing and going down steep hills where you need engine braking e.t.c
