Is300 Autobox

Over the last week or so, I think I have noticed a slight change in the gearchanges of the 'box...

I am sure I am imagining things, but it seems like 3rd gear, or is it 4th, has got longer, before it moves up and then seems to grab at the next gear, less smooth than before. It is more noticeable at slower speeds (aboout 30/40mph).

I think it is just me, but anyone else had this? Are there any known problems with the autobox?

Cheers

An ECU reset would probably sort it, it'll re-learn your driving style from scratch. I think.

think your right,same as the is200 :)

I was unsure about this.....So the IS200 has an intelligent auto bos that adapts to driving style right ? - What if the car is driven by 2 people like mine with 2 opposite driving styles. I drive 'positvely' as opposed to sedate. If I reset the ECU (Which btw I'm scared to do cos I'm outta my depth) and start flooring it straight after, will it become more responsive ? :hehe: - seriously. BTW how do u reset the ECU again ?

Thanks :P

Easyist way is just disconnect the Battery for a few minutes.......will loose all your settings though ie radio , clock etc...

Better way is to remove the correct fuses......

EDIT

@ Mac.... SNAP :D
