Coilover Fitting

Guys i'll be at Charlesworth motors on Tuesday 11th April at 9:30, having my coilovers fitted, if anyones nearby, pop in be nice to see you.

Thats what i'm hoping mate. Looking forward to the drive home, think it'll be a big difference from the lowering springs?

Yep sure did, picked them up last saturday. Steve was saying they'll only take about 4 hours to fit, is this about right?

Funny thing is steve took them off necromax's car some weeks ago :D

He fitted the same set=up the other sat for another member, so the time should be about right :D

thats good to know, so he knows how to set them up, coz there are so many different settings.

Just got to give them a good wash on saturday, would I be ok just jetting them of course covering up the tops.

Put some light oil on them, to keep them rings free, if needed how low you want it is up to you mate

Going round the ring having the setting on 1 stiffness at the front and 3 at the rear was spot on.

No knocking at all so far.

how does the EDFC work mate???

do you just set the dampning as you want it and its done automatically....as opposed to manually???

Yes mate, got the controller unit under the heated seat buttons and you can adjust the front and rear individually from inside. Little motors on the top of the coiloers then adjust to your setting.

There are 16 settings front and rear so you have 256 possibilities.
