Have taken off the rocker head, and started replacing the gaskets at the top of the spark plug tubes, however there is a plate that runs over the top of no. 3 to 6 and as the outer of the gasket is solid can't be taken out without removal of this plate. The plate appears to be rivited on. Can anybody shed any light on this for me please. The mechanic at lexus has never done this before so didn't know either.

thanks for the reply Rob, but no they can't be taken out the other side.

I'm really baffled why this plate is only over 3 to 6.

Can anybody help with this please as I really don't want to take the rocker off again
