Is200 Alloys

Recommended Posts

I am on my 2nd set of alloys, these have been on for 10 months and are showing early signs of corrosion (milky white marks).

I will be taking them back for replacement before 12 months is up, just wondering about asking if I could upgrade to the later 2004 alloys.

Does anyone know if these corrode as quickly as the originals or have they got it right on these.

Mine have just started to bubble in places. Not serious but they are going to look at them in a few weeks at the annual service and make a decision.

I wonder if I do get a refurbished set currently within the 3 year warranty period and the refurbs start to corrode, are they covered by warranty or is that it - one change only ?

Ok thanks.

Because I tend to keep my wheels clean and the car is garaged this is why my wheels have lasted 3 years with only slight corrosion now starting to appear.

I suspect that any refurbs will last longer than a year so I will only qualify for one change.

Again, thanks for the reply, obviously a rare request ?
