Earthing

Wheres a really good earthing point in the boot at the moment im just using the strap holder thingys theres 4 metal hops that u can clip things to im just bolting the connectors to this, but when i turn it up a quite loud the amps cut out and it seems to be down to the earthing.

Anyone got any better places or better ideas ???????????????

I have mine earthed here too and can crank it up real good with no problems. maybe there is a gain setting on your amp turned up to much and it puts the amp into protection mode to save blowing your equipment

if you lift up the spare wheel cover theres a bolt on the right hand side side that pokes up i use that. It's out of the way and a decent earth but i agree with IRLR200 it may be your gain turned up too much.

I did just turn the gain up trying to get some more bass out of it lol need a new amp
