Hi Paul great looking brakes, regarding the LED lights any problems with the bulb failure error in the dash? I have also fitted LED tail lights although slightly different from yours, and are they waterproof?

Hello Peter,

Thank you, regarding LED lights, yes they are totally waterproof, all sealed, comes with new grommets to pass harness through body work. For the Aristo is was just plug and play.

For the GS300 I'm sure you have to do a simple wiring alteration as there are only 5 wires in the GS300 Harness. It has been posted on here by someone else, along with instructions how to replace rear lights.

I checked this out first and found it very usefull, well detailed with photos.

As for the bulb failure error in the dash I can't really comment, as the warning bulb has been taken out some time ago. I was told the reason for this is that due to the fog light modification done on vehicle to comply with MOT/british requirements it caused the bulb failure light to come on.

regards

Paul.

Looking good Paul.

Am intreasted in the air box mod, how much was it and where from? Looks like I could do it DIY. Does it make a lot more noise?

Sorry for all the questions

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul, got the kit from Prolex, brought the box already done, it was Daves old one as he fitted an induction kit.

Dave has posted the MOD on here, you ccan do yourself as it is a DIY job.

Been looking for it but can't find it.

The car feels a lot more responsive and sounds nice. :D :D

I've been getting the odd bulb failure light when the car's stone cold. Stopping and restarting after a few minutes usually clears it. Could be the LED lights (started not long after I fitted them), could be the driver's side HID which I've just noticed seems to flicker when cold (regular pulses like it's trying to restrike itself). Not had a chance to trace the problem yet, and I don't want to mess with a re-striking HID - 22kV is gonna hurt!
