Trying To Order Is-f - No Details

Hi IS forum,

I'm visiting from the RX forum, cause I'm trying to order an IS-F, as usual from Lexus, the dealer knows nothing, so has written me in his book as the first customer to request one, and "we'll" sort it out.

It looks great, has the pace, is not super pimped (I prefer a wolf in sheeps clothing than an Evo or Scooby) and of course has all the Lexus quality and toys. Meets all my requirements, except 4 wheel drive and I'll live with that, expecially given all the VDIM etc.

Now, the real question is, has anyone found out anything at all other than what we've all read from the Detroit motor show articles, summarised in that other thread, anyone else trying to get on the list?

NO im not that mad to buy a NEW just so it can drop in price as soon as i drive it out the showroom, + my IS when its done will be more than a match for the new IS-f and it will cost hell of alot less than the IS-F, :winky:

But if you have to have then dont let me put you off...............as it is a very nice looking IS :winky:

Isn't the IS-F essentially still a concept - in that no details have actually been set?

My local dealer has confirmed it will be available in the UK first quarter of 08.

Expect orders to start being taken around June.

UK Spec is more than 400hp 4.9 to 60 only available with the 8 speed sequential auto.

Expect more kit and lower price than a new M3 and obviously reliability!
