New Car

Hi, well i have put a deposit down on my new IS300 (i was looking at the 200 before, hence my nick :D ) and look forward to delivery soon (silver with black interior). Anyways, i just wanted to point out that the Spec Sheet for the IS300 isnt accessible. Pasting the URL into a new browser sends me back to these forums, so could this be fixed please?

Hey... "Great minds" and all that! I've just put in an order for a silver '300, black interior, satnav, parking sensors, etc.... Dealer reckons 2-3 weeks. ...and with Gold LOC membership on the way, I shall be one happy person!

Incidentally - I've yet to find the true 0-60 time for this car. All the blurb over here says 8.2sec, but many reviews of the same car in the US (i.e. E-Shift & same bhp) quote it as 7.1sec ???

The IS200 spec sheet is the same,

Sadly, I suspect the 0-60 sprint on the IS300 is more like 8.2.

It certainly doesn't hang about, and you have to learn to use the auto box differently to get decent acceleration, but you won't be disappointed :)

The best part is that you can barely hear the engine until you pass 80, and even then only if you've got your foot flat on the floor. The downside is that you pick up on every teeny tiny rattle in the cabin...... I still haven't found the one that's p*****g me off....
