Continental Driving Headlamp Auto Adjust

Recommended Posts

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHETHER A 1999 ls400 CAN ADJUST THE HEADLAMPS ELECTRONICALLY FOR DRIVING ON THE RIGHT. I KNOW SOME CARS HAVE A SWITCH IN THE CABIN OR SOME OTHER AUTOMATED WAY OF FLICKING THE HEADLAMPS OVER TO SUITABLE RIGHT SIDE DRIVING...ANY ONE KNOW IF THIS WAS DOEN IN 1999 ls400'S?

Firstly. Caps imply you are shouting so no need.

Second. There is no such thing as an IS400

Third. There is no button in the IS 200 or 300 to change the lights for driving on the opposite side of the road.

FYI those headlamp adjusters tend to be on headlamps with 'fish eye' lens technology. Reason being is that the light transmission cut off is on a metal plate behind the fish eye, you can't do it on a static reflector as per the IS200.

on here CAPS DOES IMPLY THAT YOU ARE SHOUTING SO DONT WRITE IN CAPS AS IT ANNOYS PEOPLE!!

Corrrection - It annoys you.

Its an old convention made up by some geek years ago and is not relevant. Emoticons and suchlike are proper signsof annoyance nt caps.

Get with it man and chill baby

xx Jim

It's MY ball so you can't play?

Come on folks, cool down.

Some folk can't even use the language properly.

So; should I spend all my time on here correcting them, because I've been lucky enough to have an education?

Of course not.

Instead of getting niggled over such petty nonsense, be friendly and help if possible. The world has slightly more serious problems than someone using CAPITALS !!

(And, if it really DOES bother you, I'd suggest some calming therapy, or look at just WHY you get bothered about so little. It CAN be a wonderful life out there if you let yourself see it. AND you DO own a Lexus!)
