Purchased My New Car Today!

Hi everyone,

As you all know I wrote my 20 month old IS200 off on the 5th of February. The insurance company paid out and I purchased a new IS200 this afternoon from Lexus Hadleigh!

Here's the spec:

IS200 SE Automatic in Strathcaron Blue with Oakham interior.

Extras:

Oakham mats.

Front and rear scuff plates.

Parking sensors (4 sensor type)

Supaguard interior/exterior treatment (including mats)

GAP insurance.

Full tank of petrol.

I would like to say a big thank-you to Lexus Hadleigh for being so helpful, and particularly to the salesman, Jeremy Chilton, who was prepared to be very flexible on price to ensure that I purchased another IS200 (my third) from Lexus Hadleigh.

My new car will be ready on the 1st March but with all the messing around with the insurance company I should think I will have to wait until the 8th to get my new toy!

I'll be putting a dealer review in the dealer review section detailing how I got on today.

It's okay I did a search and found it.

This little episode has cost me just over 4 grand! If I had taken out the GAP insurance it would have covered everything for me. I don't want to tempt fate by taking it out this time, but I've got to cover myself!

How much was the GAP insurance. Can you only get it when you order your car ?
