115bhp at the wheels on 98 octane fuel, trust filter and HKS hipower backbox exhaust

that doesnt sound at all impressive! infact im quite disturbed that a car of its quality has such low bhp if its true!!

that figure is at the wheels not at the flywheel - all manufacturers quote at the flywheel as its more impressive

  • 4 weeks later...

that is the power at the wheels.

approximate 1/3 drive train power loss.

So take original flywheel BPH figure, and multiply by 0.66 and you're close to your wheel figure. Its actually quite a reasonable figure!

Just FYI i got 89.6KILOWATTS at the wheels, and my mate with same mods (same wheels, same JUN flywheel and clutch) got exactly the SAME figure (89.6) with a kazama back box.

In every single aspect, the Kazama seems to be a knock off of the HKS hipower item... although slightly larger barrel and slightly deeper tone... the power gain is the same.

Good to hear the Kazama is working as well as the Hiper :)

I thought for a manual RWD though that you only lost around 17% thru the drivetrain?
