Recommended Posts

ok now i aint sure this is the hydro's but nether the less i have had it right up in the air and low down and still seem to have the same problem when i turn corners i get this high pitch squeeking or if i go over bumps i get it also

i really cant drive my luxury lexus is200 with this damn squeeking happening seems to come from the rear wheels and the faster i take a corner the more i get it beginning to really pi*s me off checked play on the wheel bearings but that seems to be fine and i dont get any knocking whilst driving the bushes all seems fine with no perishing or hardly any wear and tear the car has just got through its mot with only thing being advisory is the tyres but they all got changed

i have just purchased the car and its beginning to worry me

please somebody help

Hmm :eerrrmm: a most satisfying conundrum. My instant thought would go to the bearings but if they're fine then I'd be a bit lost. Have you inspected the brake discs/pads for any catching or rubbing? That's where I'd look. Other than that, not really sure. Take it to a mechanic to be looked at if all else fails.

Congrats on your purchase, welcome to the LOC, sorry to hear about your bad experiences, hopefully they won't last. We're always here for any snippets of information you may need - whether they are correct or just made up, well.... lol!

im beginning to think its the back plate rubbing on the disc but removing the wheel may be a bit of a problem as the garage i have bought it from kindly forgot to give me the wheel key

so is there anyway to bend the backplate slightly without removing the wheel

im calling the garage now so if all else fails he should send me the key

thanks

I wanted to ask that but I thought people would think I was stupid for not knowing! Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't know. Thanks Jamie, you've made me feel better.

The car has been made by Osaka, the owner was Lowred on this forum. The suspension kit is pneumatics not hydraulics. It could be worth sending lowred a PM, he might have an idea of where the noise come from

Well....

That squeak squeak is the Airbags rubbing as they are dry and on bumps and rough Roads, cannot be stopped as i did try but no Joy :tomato:

I'd advise Renewing the suspension soon as it was on its way out when I got rid of.

Good Luck, any probs give me a shout
