Altezza Rs200 Auto Gear Box Problems

Hi all

need some help with my altezza? the autobox just gone wrong would anyone have wiring diagram for gear box side

of car also has anyone had any problems with there auto box? symptoms are not going in to 2nd when i set off in "D" also torque convertor locks up sometimes and engine will cut out

Well all the tiptronics won't allow you to select 2nd gear until they are up to the correct temperature to prevent damage... maybe the temperature sensor to the ECU is faulty?

as for the stalling... no idea :(

Thanks for your input i have tryed to have the car code read but only one fault and thats oxygen sensor heater. does anyone know if it has one ecu for autobox and one for engine or is it all in engine ecu?

It's all in the same ECU, you have 2 oxygen sensors, does the fault code tell which one is faulty?

Hi MacRS200 not sure i will find out 2moz if its pre or post sensor.if its the one your thinking does it have any bearing on my gearbox problem?

i have the xact same problem mate mines came up with transmission fluid temp sensor still not replaced it tho drives fine but cant select 2nd in triptronic mode , i just bought another gearbox incase this was a gonner lol better safe than sorry

Hi first off happy new year to all, just a qwick update on my gear box problem it was the gear box at fault ,the cars now back up and runing :) so i am well happy again apart from the big hole (£1200) in my pocket now but hay thats life.

I worked out that the performance of the car is so much better than it was when i bought it so it must have had a problem to start with. Thanks to all members for help.
