:crybaby: Help!!!!!!!!!!!

I installed the APStillen Big brake kit on my Sports cross and am having major issues. straitline they are a dream, but in a turn (even a slow turn) i get a clearence problem between the caliper and the Rotor. I contacted Stillen in cal. and they said to clearence the caliper< Which I did and this still does not solve the problem. Some of my friends think it is "HUB Flex"....

Any Ideas?

first thing i would do is take the wheels off, and REALLY double check that everything is tight, as it should not matter if you are going in a straight line or not as all the components stay relative to each other e.g disc, caliper wheel, hub etc

highly doubt it is the hub flexing

Sounds like as your turning the steering, the brake hoses are flexing, causing fluid to push through and bind the brakes.

Had same problem on my Audi Quatro years back--- I solved it by fitting braided hoses.

You didn't say if your kit already came with braided hoses ?

Also, with now fitting new discs and pads, have you checked the resevoir isn't too full of fluid(not sure if this would be the cause of your problem, but it may contribute if the fluid has no back-space)

ive had a similer problem on my is2.

i fitted the stop tech kit from prolex, the prolem i had with mine was, that when the caliper was fitted it binded against the rotor, what i ended up having to do was shim the mounting braket by 2.5 mm to move the rotor central to the caliper/pad slot, now i have no problem, other than warped discs

i would defenatly check the positioning of the brackets, with caliper attatched in relation to the rotor
