What Engine Oil ?

What Engine oil is the best for a lexus is200 sport, also how much does it need ? And any body reccomend a good engine flush ?, I am the new owner of a lexus is200 Navigator 2003. And I love it :D thanks Jamie

Check the owners manual.

Do not flush the engine, I read on here that Lexus engines do not like being flushed, an oil change (with oil filter) is all you need to do. I think someone flushed a Lexus engine and it sounded like a diesel engine.

Which oil? Either 5w30 fully synth or 10w40 semi synth, depends on how many miles the car has done. Mine has just rolled onto 100k, and I have been using 5w30 fully synth oil, but I've noticed that I am having to top up the oil every 5k, so I'll be switching to 10w40 semi synth when I service my IS200.

You'll need 4.2 litres of oil, I think, check the manual.
