Harlys Wax & Swirls Remover?

Recommended Posts

Autoglym Super Resin Polish if by hand - Dodo Juice Lime Prime if by machine, assuming not going down the full machine polishes route, in which case take your pick from Menzerna, 3M, Meguiar's, Mark V, Einszett.

hi...what you need is Autoglym paint restore from a trade supplier i.e. an Autoglym agent just look on the Autoglym site and find a mobile sales agent near you. but use a low cut, this will remove the swirls or most of them with out using a machine polish or G3 cutting cream (trade/paint use ) then polish using Autoglym resin which has a finer cut and finally use carnouba wax which is mainly used on black cars giving a deep shine and lasts for months but for best results use a couple of coats. i am Autoglym trained after i owned a valeting centre !

also if i was to use a clay bar? i feel to lazy to do so thou. is it ok on a car as new as 56

Claying is useful on brand new cars, never mind ones a couple of years old - so in your case, definitely.

As for being lazy - if you don't want to build a right arm like Popeye's, then just get some Auto Balm and it'll mask most of the swirls.

For really clean paint, some panel wipe or IPA (isopropyl alcohol) diluted 50% will do the job, prior to putting on the LSP (last stage protection/product).

As for carnauba lasting months - highly debatable and very dependant upon weather and other environmental attacks (bird poo, tree sap, etc), let alone which brand. Some waxes are measured in hours rather than weeks, never mind months!

I used Harly Wax to wax my car, easy to apply on and off, just like butter. Should members want to purchases this, I can only recommend Class Perfection Ltd of eBay available here. Discount available on production of valid LOC Gold membership.

"Some time ago I was introduced to Harly Wax, which has proved to be the best I have ever used, bar none. In my experience the liquid waxes on the market just don't measure up - none provide the deep shine that turns a good paint job into a brilliant paint job. Harly wax, like all "real" carnauba wax's, comes in a paste form, and is made from pure No.1 yellow Carnauba wax. This is extracted from the leaves of the Copernica Cerifera palm tree, which grows in the mountains of north Brazil."
