have been asking mark from tdi about nitrous kits and think i might go for it. 75bhp progressive shot should perk things up a bit when needed. and normal fuel consumption when not using it. sounds good to me.

need to empty my pockets out now count the pennies. still looking for a local installer (northern ireland is still in dark ages of tuning shops lol) but if not will have to make the trip to tdi

I had it done to my IS200 (s/c'd as well) cost £2400 (TDi did it)

Gave a nice kick BUT its not like any other mod (s/c turbo etc) where you pay £XX and thats it................the NOS lasts only seconds for a 10lb bottle...........

insurance will kill you as well as most companys will not cover you

how long will a 10lb bottle last?

depends how much you use it......really :whistling:

i take it a 50 shot would last longer than 75 shot but is there a rough time of say continuos use, not that you would always be using it. 10 minutes? more? less?

i was talking to WON not so long ago about a kit for mine. What i would say is make sure you only buy a 'wet' kit and make sure you get a progressive controller - minimax or similar.

You will easily be able to get it supplied AND fitted for less than £1500. If you do some of the install yourself (fit the brackets for the bottle etc etc), then the labour charge will be a lot less. WON have no problems with the buyer part fitting the kit, so don't think that to be an issue mate.

I would say your best bet would be to get a WON kit, they are very reliable and have a good reputation.

As for the cost of the NO2.......the suppliers rob you raw!! It helps to work in a chemistry lab for some things :whistling: :D

what kit will be fitted and what cost have you been quoted. i ran a 75shot progressive using wizard of nos kit with 11lb bottle total cost was 1k supplied and i fitted myself.

TDI supply the kit i think it is wizard of nos kit too. what all was involved in the fitting? i have fitted a turbo kit to a ford ka before but have never dealt with nos??
