So the Lex has gone in today to be re-sprayed after the vandalism B :tsktsk: rds anyway i've been given the use of a 08 VW Polo which I was quite suprised by until I come across a bend talk about no grip I found myself slowing down to a virtual stop for every turn, granted it's been very wet today but if this is one of the best small cars available I think i'd rather walk or just use my van instead, can't wait to get the Lex back tho all gleaming and gorgeous looking.

I find that happens when i get into our fiesta mate, think it must be a front wheel drive thing after being used to a rear wheel drive car  Been using our fiesta today and it does handle quite well but its always spinning the wheels! but maybe i have a too heavy right foot for it?

Must be front wheel drive, it's just it seems great goint straight but as soon as you turn there's nothing there, iv'e more confidence in my great big Merc sprinter at 50mph round a bend than in the Polo at 5mph in a slight curve, will just have to adapt my driving style until the Lex comes back (the sooner the better tho).

I think Polo's have a reputation that's a little bit undeserved. I think they're expensive, underequipped, not very pretty, dull interior, don't have the reputation for reliability people think they have and I don't think much to the dealer network. I think there's much better small cars out there - I can't see why anyone would choose a Polo above a Corsa for example.
