Cost Of Rx350 Second Service

My Rx350 is due for its second service next week & I have been quoted £488 + vat plus they tried to push an aircon sevice for an extra £99, at my local Lexus garage. They also said no discount for LOC gold members.

Can you tell me if this the norm, sounds very expensive to me!!

Try phoning a different Lexus dealer and ask them to quote you for the work, also ask about the Gold discount there. Different dealers will offer different prices, it's worth shopping around.

Is £488+VAT just for the service? Sounds a bit steep, see you're in Herts so not too far from me, which dealer do you use?

I know it sounds like I'm pushing the same thing on different threads, but I was sick of paying too much per service and then spending time searching for a 'better deal' - so I put some time into researching the Lexus Pre-Paid Service plan and started to play around with combination of services. Found a combination that worked for me and ended up saving the cost of one 'minor service' - might be worth you looking at that yourself?
