Helix organic clutch is excellent and should be more than what you need for the s/c

thanks for ur input matey. in what way do u mean its excellent?? just trying to get a feel for whats out there and cost etc....

It can easily handle the power of the s/c and more. Also it feels OEM if not better, plus not expensive. If your staying with the s/c and maybe adding a few hp onto that then you wont find much better than the Helix organic clutch.

Only reason I changed to a cerametalic clutch was because I burnt the organic one abusing launch control.

LOL as i'm doing at the moment cause im getting the new one in Monday.

Depends really.

Is there a Exedy uprated clutch? whats it rated to?

The four paddle will IMHO be too harsh for day to day driving.

See what other people are running maybe? I've got the SPEC stage II, but not had it long so dont want to say too much about it yet till its taken some real abuse.

Dont know about Dave, Adie, Fever, etc.

Just seen a Exedy clutch on eBay. I've asked him what the clutch is good for. See what he says. Can another stock clutch be fitted with a Supercharger? Or would it just not last that long?

I had a Blueprint one from Dave fitted to my car at Charlesworth when I had the SC still on there, was no issues at all with that, it ran fine for the remaining time I had the charger and also a long time after when I'd gotten rid of the supercharger!

I have the Helix organic clutch....works perfectly, very little difference to standard feel either! I would highly recommend that you run a new clutch in properly!! I wouldn't attempt any heavy loaded pull-aways or high rev/redline gear changes for at least 300 miles...drive smooth and sensibly for that time and then up the power on pull-aways gradually for a few days.

If you are going to fit a lightened flywheel, I would do it when/if you have a new clutch fitted, since you have to remove one to fit the other....saves on labour costs in the future obviously!
