Poor Antenna Signal

Just bought a 1997 Soarer (SC300) its my 3rd one, had a Altezza before but decided I liked the Soarer more, I am hoping someone can help me with a problem with my radio, the Jap import one with satnav TV etc died and I needed to replace it, I found one with a TV that fitted the gap and got a garage that does work for me to fit it, seemed ok when I left the garage but discovered the antenna signal was week,

I found a small unit under the back seat with all the antennas going to it that I think is the antenna booster I checked for power but found none

there are for plugs, two gray ones that have the antenna going into them and two on the other side, one gray that looks like the GPS output to head-unit and the other white with for pins, I was wandering as anyone fitted one before that can help with pinout etc

I know I can take it back to the garage but if possible I would prefer to do it myself

Thanks in advanced for any help you can give

If it's similar to the Celsior it does need power and it is normally supplied from the head unit so when the head unit is on the power is also supplied to the amp unit.

On mine it was a red wire but not sure with a soarer.

Might be worth having a word with these guys
