Welcome to LOC :)

Not sure if you'll get a low miler for that but these things tend to be good anyway - hitting 100k in a car is just a stigma on it now - looked after they'll go way further than that :)

Just make sure it's had oil changes, cam belts changed a couple of times and things like water pumps etc and you should be fine!

As for the LSD, it's kind of a basic traction system in that it can have power being put down onto the road slightly differently at each side at the rear - useful for corners or if one side loses traction. Not often you'd hear it actually kick in unless you're hammering it!

With the high milers other things to look at are the suspension and so on, my spring snapped around the 100k miles mark!

The 'S' model is not the sports model mate...

Sport model would have leather seats, two tone steering wheel, lower by 10mm i think than standard model..

You can get aftermarket LSDs mate, thing is though do you actually really want one?

For normal driving it's not going to make much difference, you could only ever hear mine kicking in on one corner and it always did it as one tyre would come off the ground as you went around it!

Most I ever did round that one was about 70ish I think, would happen at 30 or 40 though - really dodgy drop and camber on the road there.

The Midlands lot may know it as the road going from Oakerthorpe to Higham just past the Amber Hotel - really really dodgy corner!

i don't think there will be an insurance "save" but they may well load the premium as it then a modyfied car. Mine is an SE the traction control is fine for every day driving, no real need for a LSD, but I will probably put one in once the power upgrade has been done - depending on how the car feels.........

In my personal opinion id rather get one thats done say 100k + and been serviced and recently had a cambelt change rather than get say one of 70k, knowing full well your gonna have to fork out a bit in a few thousand miles.
