I know this has been brought up on the Forum before but I'm stuggling to find a definitive answer. I've got a GS300 Sport MK1 and would like to lower it. can anyone point me in the right direction of a supplier. Has anyone got any side images they can put up showing successful results? TDI no longer supply them by the way.

Thanks and appreciated.

Yeah, I only want to drop it buy about 20 - 30mm. Coil overs are going to be very expensive so I don't really want to go that route. Eibach don't seem to do the springs for the MK1 - I'd like to be proved wrong though. Surely someone knows. ;)

The problem with this is, if you do find aftermarket springs to your liking that are advertised as being a 20 to 30 mm drop, they will be a drop from the height of a standard GS and not the Sport. Which is already say 20-30 mm lower anyway. Im not 100% sure (Anyone, Bueller?) but i believe the MK1 Sport was only sold here in the UK and was fitted with TTE springs and uprated shocks. If you are hoping for a further drop of 20-30 my guess would be to look for some 50-60mm ones to fit all MK1's - Thus taking the drop further. But im not so sure where you would get them... more than likely the US. But searching never brings up too much.

As mentioned above, for custom setups and such you would be looking at coilover kits.
