Who Can Clear A Doubt

i got friend that says that it dosen't matter if for example if it says headers hks for M/T, it could be used for a A/T, and has u know A/T on the tezza has 2 sensors and he says just use one, and say to him dude if it says M/T is cuz is no for A/T, but keeps saying that that dosent matter.

can someone clear that out for me.

You are correct the 5AT has 2 sensors as in the picture below.

One sensor is for cylinders 1 & 4 and the second for cylinders 2 & 3 and they are located before the exhaust branches joint into 1 pipe. If you only had one sensor installed in a 6MT exhaust it would sense for all cylinders but only make adjustments to the mixture for 2. Plus you would have check engine light on for the missing sensor unless you put a simulator on the other plug. So in short I would not do it.

You could get a 6MT exhaust and get bosses welded into the pipes where the sensors are on the 5AT and just plug the redundant one.
