Weight Of Tte Kit

Hi all,

I'm parting with my TTE Supercharger kit, someone has asked me to quote shipping but I'm not sure of the total approx weight to base this on, can anyone shed any light on it? has anyone here had to ship or pay for one of these to be freighted to be able to help?

I just paid for my brand new TTE supercharger kit and the shipping from Austria to Sweden is around €200, so I guess it's quite heavy. If you're interested I can weigh everything when it arrives :)

yeah they are quite heavy... the eaton charger being the heaviest part for obvious reasons.

and yes please weigh it once it arrives unless someone already has a manifest with the weight and can post the details up here :)

i shipped one in a big plastic suitcase and it was 35kg inc the case - case i guess is about 5kg??

nah didnt bother in the end mate, couldnt find a decent one for the budget i had, most were well used and abused, combined with a cam belt change every 40K and engine out to change the turbos didnt sit too well for me.

insurance would have been cheaper than the IS though!

Was looking at an RS4 V6- prices have come down quite a bit now tho. for somth with 55000km average is about 51K francs and 100,000kms about 35K francs.

well dave at prolex was shipping my sc kit out sometime this week and he goes due to the weight he has to put them into few boxes so guess it quite heavy. will weigh once i get mines.

its cool mate. prolex sold them to guy in austria markus and i paid him markus and before dave kept one for me.
