Auto Lights Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi All.

If i turn my key so everything is on apart from the engine, with auto lights on the lights come on. But if i wait a couple of seconds with the key turned to the middle position, then start the engine the lights fail to 'fire' up. I then have to turn them on and off.

Any ideas what this could be, the lights are from HIDS4YOU

Thanks

sounds like the ballast are holding a charge from when they were turned on but not enough to re-fire from ignition are they wired directly into the car loom or have you got a harness to give them a direct feed from the battery...

Rabs

Direct to car loom. Its only if i dont turn the key all the way in one sweep - if that makes scense.

Im used to turning it half way, then fully after a few seconds, as i used to have an oil burner!

Thanks
