Washed And Polished The Cars Of The Household

the wifes car was shockingly dirty(not been washed in 3 weeks and well mine was dusty(washed and polished on fri)

so washed polished and done all the levels,heres a few pics...

the reason for the shiney extension tube is i'm gettin the carbon fiber cold air intake like the bandit had(its his old one)

is the Celica the 190bhp or the 140bhp??

if its the 140bhp...which car is faster? i no the lexus has 153bhp but it doesnt pull that well IMO....its good on top end speed.

what induction kit do you have on your car and how much was it?

come on now.......140bhp thats the poverty celica and its crap and only has vvti not vvtli i work for toyota so i would never let her own the 140bhp one!!!!!its the celica GT(very limited edition 2 per dealer in scotland) which is the 190bhp with extra's plus shes a traffic cop so she says she'll never own a slow car.

the 140bhp celica honestly shouldnt pass the lex.....if you think the lex is slow drive the 140bhp celica.

my induction kit is the pipercross kit(£245 but i got from eBay for £50) but i removed the pipercross foam filter and fitted the apexi filter(sounds a whole lot better and it was free).

i have driven the celica 190bhp and when LIFT kicks in...i love it!

i love the lexus all round....but i am not happy with the performace compared to driving other cars...but maybe its just me...

£50 for an induction kit!!! that is a bargain! what did u type on eBay to find that?....i need to keep an eye out for one!

their was a boy called aztecbandit thats on here and he made his own induction kit mate and i think it cost him approx £40 type in his name into find a member and look up his posts mate it tells you what you need to get.

chris i know how you feel i went from a mk2 mr2 and thought i'd get either a merc,bmw or is200 because i wanted a practical car well i thought the lex would be......................................... but its not lol

cheers for the pic mate...i found the thread in the end...it has confused me about the right temprature needed if you make a custom one....

my car has been vanadalised really badly! the Bonnet has been deeply keyed all over, the OS SIDE has been keyed on the door panels and the Os SIDE has been dented in (punched)

for the repair i will need to have the bonnet back to the priming stage,respryed, same goes for one side of the car and the other side will have pannel beating done to it/ or filled then resprayed again!

i took it to a insurance approved bodyshop an they will charge the insurance company £3000! my insurance will then go up!

2weeks i have owned the car! an there is some really nasty jelous scum people out there!!!

i took some pictures but my car is too shiny an the scratches are not coming up! lol will take some on a typical dull day! lol

don't worrie about the temps mate the temps are just compairing my type of induction kit(pipercross) to the home made made one(the home made one is better)

just make one and you'll be impressed with the noise honestly mate.

i hope you get your car sorted mate....what insurers are you with some offer no affect claims if your car has been vanadalised.i would go round many bodyshops you don't need to go to the one the insurers say!!

i used to have a mkII mr2 as well, a '93T.

wish i never had sold that thing... but i move around too much.

it was the aquamarine teal color.

at least i have an altezza instead of the IS200, so i kind of know a little about my motor.

high comp instead of turbo,

more sophisticated don't you think...

oh, and your cars look great,

i honestly have no idea when the last time mine was washed, much less waxed...

im 20 and just got the lexus and must say for my its brill... there are a few bits i am getting to grips with like 1st gear could last longer and the fuel guzzling could be toned down abit but theres many more cars to be bought as i get older so just another learning processl.. all in al its a beast

Quality set of motors mate, trying to convince the g/f to get a celica too! LOL!

Still can't get over the hill you live on, looks mental on the pics, bet ya leave it in gear when parked on it! ;)

she smacked me accross the head with the heat mag she was reading........

james if you are going to get a celica mate get a tsport or a 190(same thing just badged up diff) or you will be very dissapointed!!the 140 is no good and slower than a week in jail with buba as your cell mate!!

we both have garages so thats were the babys live but might have a new born soon(next year sometime) VX220(weekend car)..so the lex will be outside the house.
