Brrrmmmm From Tex And Hello From Me!

Hola everyone, Im Carrie and Im a new pround owner of A white Toyota Altezza, Im the first owner in th country, Ive named him Tex how sad am I!!

So a wee question, the honky big head unit is coming out for starters and i have just purchased a nice new cd player for him, surrounds though, help, i have looked and can't find one, any links for a blacking plates and surrounds for stereo?

Hi there, welcome to LOC. You've got two options for the stereo surround, there's an official Toyota part that is a perfect match for the dash but doesn't have the holes for the heated seat switches so will require a little modification if your car has heated seats.

The other option is the autoleads part which is readily available on eBay - only prob with this one is that it isn't a perfect match for the dash, so if you're not too fussy it won't really be a prob, otherwise you can rub it down and respray it as some members have done (have a search for it as there is a great guide on how to do this on here).

i bought the autoleads one and with a bit of sawing sanding and spraying came out like a perfect surround. pretty easy to do aswell ! are you gonna go for a double din ? coz i bought the alpine dedicated ipod stereo. its supreb. i have a few pictures on here somewhere, try to find them !
