Front Seat Air Purifying Filters? Not That I Can Find

The handbook says there are air filters in the front bottom edge of the air conditioned seats (presumably the back ones too), but the only things that are in the front of the seat bases seem to be big slidey out coin trays. Mine's a 2001 LS430.

Anyone got these filters in?

Hi Mike,

The only thing I can find on the parts diagram that looks like a filter is part no. 88921-50010 which fits into the air intake ducting for the blower motor.

It is listed as a "standard part" in the list so nothing specific.

It may be worth giving the part no. to Lexus and see if it is the filter.

Just a thought as the motor blows the air through the seats does this make passing wind whilst seated a much more traumatic experience for yourself and passengers as it get blown and therefore evenly distributed around the car
