Unable To Remove Panel In Front Of Sat Nav Dvd!

Recommended Posts

We have managed to eject the Sat Nav DVD inadvertantly which is now presumably jammed behind the panel.

Now we are trying to get the panel off in front of the Sat Nav DVD - following instructions in trusty manual - but no joy. Manual says to insert two screwdrivers into little round holes, have done that and can feel the 'click'. The manual says there is a slot below the emergency button, but there doesn't appear to be - . Would appreciate any help, it is really frustrating!!

You should have the proper removal tools in the toolkit, they look like Jewelers screwdrivers, but have round nose pins. Where in Glos are you? I may not be too far way if you need help. PM me with address if you do.

As Tango said use the proper round nose tools from the toolkit. From what I remember they go in at a slight angle and need to go all the way in. They will then push back on a spring clip on each side and the panel will come out without the need to lever anything from the slot (that doesn't exist). I hope that helps.

Thanks.

This shaky video on youtube might help:

Hi Guys.

Yep use the tool supplies in the tool kit and i use two round small suckers one at each end and that way you can pull the facia away without damaging the dash
