Hi and welcome to the LOC.

I've bought the odd part from Japan with no problems and also from the USA,Google Japan has some good elusive parts but to buy you need an agent as they won't ship direct to the UK.

Postal costs are quite high and remember if HM Revenue get a look in they will charge you import duty plus the carrier makes an additional charge so factor this into any proposed purchase.

Sometimes you get away with it but not always!

Also have a look at the parts for sale forum there are usually some TRD parts on offer or ask in the wanted section.

It helps if you have someone over there to buy things for you and ship as gifts. I'm lucky that my folks live in Canada so I get them to ship stuff from the states, like my Joe Z intake pipe :-) I once bought an apexi ecu for my impreza from Japan and got stung by customs to the tune of 70 quid, and the postie wouldn't leave till I'd wrote him a cheque for it!
