Rx300 Or 350

Recommended Posts

  • 5 weeks later...

Hi. I have the 350 RX which I bought recently after much searching. As far as I'm concerned and know, the 350 is more economical, more powerful, quieter (more sound insulation) and a few other upgrades, modifications. Converted mine to run on LPG too. Excellent car so far, comfy, smooth, very quiet, civilised, loads of gadgets etc.... Hope this helps.

I have owned them both. You can't really argue with the extra power of the 350 over the 300 (270 bhp against around 201 bhp respectively), but with equivalent economy. Not saying the 300 is bad, but I do think that it is worth paying the extra and going for a 350. As said above, there were some extra 'behind the scenes' refinements also made to the 350 with sound insulating windscreen, and more sound deadeding material, thicker carpets etc. It makes sense.

RX400 for economy. RX350 rather than RX300 though if you must stay with a pure petrol-powered car.

I agree, the 400h is not only more economical, its more powerful and much nicer to drive. We were loaned a RX330 when our 400h was in for service - even my wife commented on the difference and she was riding shotgun

Cheers
