New Member, Quick Question Or Two

I have just posted an itroduction in the new members area and I now have a couple of questions! I get my lexus sport next week and just wanting a little advice.

Are there any manuals online to download? Main book, Stereo manual, I think ive seen a repair manual?

Also a couple of sports i test drove had a small compartment at the top of the dash that looked like a sunglasses storage box. you press down the lid and it pops open. Does anyone know where I can buy this? Or its actual name?

look on eBay, both manuals and this top box come up from time to time, there is also a gps unit that was on there a while back fitted with a sony gps unit.

Yes it does but only CD-R. They don't play CD-RWs.

Good luck if you can find a dash tray, they are rarer than hens teeth, and command quite a hefty price. If you do find one but dont want it, post it up on here, there's more Ghana a few people looking.

I didnt try the changer just hope it works then, if not I will pull it all out and go aftermarket.

I thought the compartment would be very sought after. its a nice touch!

Robbo - when I was looking for info on the CT, I found a link to a Lexus.com site :

That link might not do much at first, I needed to click on "Manuals and Resources" on the left hand side before it would give me a list of Lexus models to choose from. I found the link at ct200hforum.com, which I should probably keep an eye on.

Might be worth a look, although I can't see IS200 in the Model drop down list.

PS I was wondering if the radio would do Long Wave for cricket commentary on 198kHz AM. I think I might have to do something clever (and geeky) for that
