Aftermarket Steering Wheel For Is200

Hi guys im getting another is200 and it has a sparco deep dish suede steering wheel fitted to it. I was just wondering as the standard wheel has an airbag fitted and this one doesnt will there be a warning light on the dash or a fault somewhere and if so how could i get rid of the light and still keep the sparco steering wheel. I havent got the car yet you see so havent seen if theres a light on it or not. Cheers Rob

If the airbag has been removed the airbag warning light will show up on the dash - unless the bulb has been removed.

With changes coming to the MOT it will soon be a failure item. The car must have an airbag if one fitted as standard and the airbag light must be showing when the ignition is switched on but must not stay on.

you need to fit a resistor kit in the plug instead, will make it think theres an airbag there, think its about 1 ohm
