Stereo Pixel Fix?

Hi, i have recently purchased a 1997 LS....The car is wonderful and i love it/her! However the pixels on the stereo have started to fail! To make her perfect i would like to sort this problem.

Can these be fixed?..... I have purchased another stereo unit of fleabay but this is un-tested so could be in the same state! Can they be bench tested before being fitted? Is fitting a big job?

I sent my radio to BBA Reman.. on the 6th of Feb, after several weeks of phoning,sending E:mails promises of returning my phone calls(which they didn't ) saying that they had trouble getting the spare parts, it looks like I might get it back on tuesdat 17th. Ten Weeks aftre I sent it. Total cost p+p both ways £34:00 Repair £232:60 Total:£266:60.Try them if you like GOOD LUCK
